Welcome to my web page! I am a Police officer for the Albuquerque Police Department in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have been and officer for over 20 years. I retired on JUNE 1, 2005 I currently work the field as a patrol officer and have done that for my entire career. I guess ever since I wanted to become a police officer it was to work out on the streets so that is what I stuck to. I am a C.I.T. Officer. Which stands for Crisis Intervention Team. We respond to calls in the field involving people in mental distress and try to get then help they need instead of going to jail or hurting themselves or others. This could involve a person with a history of mental illness or violent behavior to the person who is just suffering from some isolated incident that has sent them over the edge where they feel they need to harm themselves or others or just want help to keep from getting to that point. I am also a Field Training Officer and have trained somewhere between 30-40 recruit officers as part of their 3 month on the job training after they have graduated from the Academy. I am starting to wind down and stop trading patches. I am getting ready to retire and it will be too hard to get the patches when I do retire. I am currently working with a couple of people to get them thier patches but after that I am done. If I do locate anyone that is trading I will place thier contact information in place of this line so keep checking. But if you can't find one anywhere else and really want one of my department feel free to ask. The patches I usually get are new so I would like to trade new for new. But I will take a patch that is used as long as it doesn't look like its been through the wash a thousand times.
